A deck that focuses on +1/+1 counters and creature synergy would benefit from including Invigorating Surge, as it can quickly boost the power and toughness of a creature. However, there are potentially better cards like Solidarity of Heroes, which can double the number of +1/+1 counters on multiple creatures for the same mana cost. Invigorating Surge could still see play in decks looking for a quick burst of power on a single creature, but its effectiveness may be limited compared to other options available.

To double the number of +1/+1 counters on a creature, put a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to the number it already has. Other cards that interact with putting counters on it will interact with this effect accordingly.
