Sunlit Marsh would benefit a deck that relies on both white and black mana sources, such as an Orzhov (white-black) control or midrange deck in Magic: The Gathering. While Sunlit Marsh can provide both colors of mana, it entering the battlefield tapped can slow down a deck's tempo, making it less desirable in faster-paced strategies. Other dual lands like Godless Shrine or Isolated Chapel may be better options for more competitive play due to their ability to enter untapped under certain conditions, but Sunlit Marsh could still find a place in casual or budget decks where mana fixing is important.
