Conductor of the Mists would be a valuable addition to a Shadow Isles control deck focused on generating card advantage and board presence through Last Breath effects. Its ability to create a Ghastly Band in hand upon dying provides additional resources and potential board presence. While there may be more powerful cards in the same cost range, such as Withering Wail for its immediate impact, Conductor of the Mists could still see play in decks looking to capitalize on Last Breath synergies and resource generation.
