Grave Companion would be beneficial in a Shadow Isles deck focused on sacrificing allies or utilizing Last Breath effects, as it provides card draw to maintain hand advantage. While it can be a valuable card in certain strategies, there are potentially better options like Warden's Prey or Glimpse Beyond for more immediate card advantage or value generation. However, Grave Companion could still see play in decks looking to consistently draw cards throughout the game.
