While it can provide card advantage by allowing you to draw an extra card each turn, it may be too slow for competitive play due to its high mana cost and the potential downside of not being able to cast spells from your hand when you need to. Other cards like Narset, Parter of Veils or Teferi, Time Raveler may offer similar disruptive effects with additional benefits, making them potentially better choices for certain deck strategies.
