A deck focused on artifact synergy, especially with low mana value artifacts, would benefit from including Covert Technician as it provides a way to cheat artifacts onto the battlefield for free when it deals combat damage. While Covert Technician has a unique ability, there may be better options for artifact-focused decks, such as Master of Etherium or Steel Overseer, which offer more consistent value. Covert Technician could see play in more casual or themed decks, but may not be competitive enough for higher-level play.
