Cram Session can be beneficial in a Golgari (Black/Green) midrange or control deck that focuses on gaining incremental life and card advantage. While the card provides a small life gain and the opportunity to fetch a Lesson card, there are potentially better options like \[\[Grim Tutor\]\] or \[\[Painful Lesson\]\] for tutoring or card draw respectively. However, in a deck that heavily relies on Lessons, Cram Session could see play as a versatile tool for resource management and incremental advantage.
