This Explorer's Scope card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly, especially in a deck with a lot of creatures that can attack frequently. While it can provide some mana acceleration, there are better options like Sword of the Animist or Sword of Feast and Famine for more consistent ramp. However, in a budget or casual deck, Explorer's Scope could still see play as a budget alternative for mana ramp and card advantage.
