A deck that focuses on artifact synergy, such as an artifact-heavy deck in an artifact-based strategy like Affinity or Artifact Aggro, would benefit from including Glaze Fiend. While Glaze Fiend can grow in power quickly with the right support, there are potentially better options like Master of Etherium or Etched Champion in terms of overall impact and resilience. However, Glaze Fiend could still see play in more budget-friendly or casual artifact decks looking to capitalize on its potential for explosive growth.

The only difference between a colored artifact and a colorless artifact is, obviously, its color. Unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact requires colored mana to cast. Also unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact has a color in all zones. It will interact with cards that care about color. Other than that, a colored artifact behaves just like any other artifact. It will interact as normal with any card that cares about artifacts, such as Shatter or Arcbound Ravager.
