The temporary +1/+0 boost allows for a strong alpha strike, and the death-trigger card draw helps recover after a board wipe or enables profitable sacrifice plays with outlets like *Viscera Seer* or *Carrion Feeder*. However, compared to existing cards, it’s somewhat underpowered; cards like **Deadly Dispute**, **Village Rites**, or **Plumb the Forbidden** are generally more efficient and reliable for card draw in sacrifice decks, while **Dark Prophecy** or **Midnight Reaper** provide repeatable value.
