Legion Rearguard could be beneficial in an aggressive Noxus deck that focuses on dealing damage quickly to the enemy Nexus. While it can't block, its low cost and decent power make it a good early-game threat. However, there are better alternatives like Legion Saboteur, which also costs 1 mana but has the ability to deal direct Nexus damage.
