A deck that focuses on swarm tactics and capitalizing on multiple units on the board would benefit from using First Wave in Legends of Runeterra. While First Wave can be a solid addition to such a deck, there are potentially better cards like Wraithcaller or Hapless Aristocrat that offer more value in terms of board presence and synergy with other cards. However, First Wave could still see play in certain strategies that aim to overwhelm the opponent with a flood of units early in the game.
