A control or tempo deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's hand size and resources would benefit from Compulsive Research in Magic: the Gathering. While this card can provide card advantage, there are better options like Fact or Fiction or Thirst for Knowledge that offer more flexibility and value. Compulsive Research could see play in certain niche decks, but it may not be a top choice in highly competitive environments.
