This card could be beneficial in an aggressive Boros (Red-White) deck that aims to quickly deal damage to the opponent. However, there are better options available such as Swiftblade Vindicator or Skyknight Vanguard which provide consistent power without the drawback of reduced toughness. Flowstone Charger may not see much play in competitive decks due to its vulnerability to removal and combat tricks that can easily take advantage of its temporary stat change.
