Forum Filibuster would fit best in a white‑based midrange or Orzhov (white/black) Auras or Equipment deck, especially one that can consistently stock the graveyard with powerful Auras or Equipment and leverage repeatable token generation. Because it creates a 2/1 flying Inkling every upkeep and can immediately reattach an Aura or Equipment from the graveyard, it works well with sacrifice-based Aura strategies, self-mill, or cards like Ethereal Armor, All That Glitters, or powerful Equipment such as Sword of X and Y in slower formats; it also has strong synergy in Commander, particularly in Aura/Voltron shells that value recursion. However, at 3WW it is fairly slow for competitive Constructed formats like Standard or Pioneer, where cards such as Sigarda’s Aid, Puresteel Paladin, or Halvar, God of Battle provide faster or more explosive payoff for Equipment strategies, and Sram, Senior Edificer offers stronger card advantage for Auras.
