It'll Quench Ya! could be a useful addition to a control deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a cheap instant speed way to counter opponent's spells. However, there are better options available, with Mana Leak being a stronger choice for only 1U, as it can counter the spell outright rather than giving the opponent the option to pay extra mana.
