A control deck focused on slowing down the opponent's creature-based strategy would benefit from using Prison Term in Magic: the Gathering. While Prison Term can be effective in certain situations, there are better alternatives like Detention Sphere or Banishing Light that offer more flexibility and removal options. Prison Term could see play in specific metas where its ability to attach to new creatures is advantageous, but overall, it may not be a top choice in competitive decks.

The last ability works only if Prison Term is already on the battlefield. You may move it from the creature it’s currently enchanting onto the new creature.
