Sickbay Orderly would fit a casual white lifegain deck, especially one that rewards repeated life gain with cards such as Ajani's Pridemate or payoff creatures, but a three-mana creature whose only stated ability is lifelink is generally below the power level needed for competitive Constructed play. Better options include `Vampire Nighthawk` (cheaper-looking body for its cost with flying and deathtouch as well as lifelink, if black is available), `Voice of the Blessed` (a scalable lifegain payoff), and `Lunarch Veteran` (a much cheaper, repeatable lifegain enabler); Sickbay Orderly is reasonable as limited-format filler or for a flavorful Commander deck, but it should not normally see play over cards that either gain life more efficiently or provide meaningful additional abilities.
