A deck that aims to have a balanced mix of green and white mana sources would benefit from including Temple Garden, as it provides flexibility in mana production. Other lands like Brushland or Sunpetal Grove may offer similar benefits, but Temple Garden's dual nature makes it a strong contender for inclusion in decks looking for efficient mana fixing and ramp.

Unlike most dual lands, this land has two basic land types. It’s not basic, so cards such as District Guide can’t find it, but it does have the appropriate land types for effects such as that of Drowned Catacomb (from the Ixalan set).
