This card would be a great addition to a defensive control deck that focuses on stalling the game and protecting your life total. Its multiple abilities make it a versatile blocker that can also become a formidable attacker when needed. However, there are better options available in the current Magic: the Gathering card pool that offer similar defensive capabilities with additional benefits, such as Wall of Omens or Wall of Blossoms. While Weathered Sentinels has its strengths, it may not be the most optimal choice for competitive play due to its mana cost and vulnerability to removal spells.
