Ein Deck, das sich auf aggressive, mittlere Strategien mit einer Mischung aus roten und schwarzen Karten konzentriert, würde von der Einbeziehung von Bituminous Blast profitieren, da es durch Cascade sowohl Entfernung als auch Kartenvorteil bietet. Auch wenn möglicherweise effizientere Entfernungszauber verfügbar sind, ist Bituminous Blast aufgrund des Potenzials für Freizauber und Kartenvorteile eine gute Überlegung für Decks, die den Druck auf den Gegner aufrechterhalten und gleichzeitig Wert generieren möchten. Es sollte in Decks zum Einsatz kommen, die seine Vielseitigkeit und sein Potenzial für explosive Spielzüge ausnutzen können.
