About Grim Strider
Grim Strider, Creature — horror, designed by Christine Choi first released in Apr, 2017 in the set Amonkhet and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck that focuses on discarding cards from hand or has a strategy to keep its hand size low would benefit from using Grim Strider, as it can potentially be a powerful and cost-effective creature with a reduced mana cost. However, there are likely better cards available that offer more consistent power and value without the drawback of decreasing stats based on hand size. In competitive play, Grim Strider may not see much use compared to other more reliable options.
Rules
04/18/17
If a spell or ability causes you to draw cards and then has you remove some from hand (such as by discarding them or putting them on top of your library), Grim Strider may briefly have 0 toughness or less. As long as its toughness is 1 or greater again after the spell or ability is finished resolving, it will remain on the battlefield.
