Shen final level, Champion, designed by SIXMOREVODKA first released in May, 2020 in the set Foundations.
A deck focused on protecting key units and buffing them for strong offensive plays would benefit from using Shen. While Shen's ability to grant Barrier and additional power to supported allies can be valuable in certain situations, there may be better options available depending on the specific strategy of the deck. Cards like Brightsteel Protector or Riposte could potentially offer more immediate value or flexibility, but Shen could still see play in decks looking to capitalize on his unique support abilities.
