About Evacuation
Evacuation, Instant, designed by Rob Alexander first released in Mar, 1998 in the set Stronghold and was printed exactly in 15 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
Evacuation would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on stalling the game and disrupting the opponent's board state. However, Cyclonic Rift is a more versatile option as it can also deal with non-creature permanents, making it a stronger choice in most situations. While Evacuation could see situational play in certain metas, Cyclonic Rift is generally the preferred option for its flexibility and power level.
