About Burning Inquiry
Burning Inquiry, Sorcery, designed by Zoltan Boros & Gabor Szikszai first released in Jul, 2009 in the set Magic 2010 and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's a key card in 2 combos.
A deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's hand size or graveyard strategy would benefit from using Burning Inquiry, such as a red aggressive deck looking to disrupt control or combo strategies. While Burning Inquiry can be a powerful tool for disrupting opponents, it can also be unpredictable due to the random nature of the discard, so it may not always be the most reliable choice. Other cards like Faithless Looting or Cathartic Reunion may offer more consistent card selection and advantage, but Burning Inquiry can still be a viable option in certain strategies that can capitalize on the chaos it creates.
Rules
10/01/09
First the player whose turn it is draws three cards, then each other player in turn order does so. Then the active player randomly chooses the three cards they will discard, then each other player in turn order does so. Then all the cards are discarded at the same time.
