About Frontier Siege
Frontier Siege, Enchantment, designed by James Ryman first released in Jan, 2015 in the set Fate Reforged and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and playing large creatures would benefit from using Frontier Siege, particularly the Khans mode for additional mana acceleration. However, there are better cards available for similar effects, such as Utopia Sprawl or Fertile Ground for mana ramp, and cards like Beast Within or Fight as One for creature removal or protection. While Frontier Siege can be a fun and flavorful addition to a deck, it may not be the most competitive choice in more optimized strategies.
Rules
11/24/14
Each of the last two abilities is linked to the first ability. They each refer only to the choice made as a result of the first ability. If a permanent enters the battlefield as a copy of one of the Sieges, its controller will make a new choice for that Siege. Which ability the copy has won’t depend on the choice made for the original permanent.
11/24/14
Each Siege will have one of the two listed abilities, depending on your choice as it enters the battlefield.
11/24/14
The “Khans” ability triggers at the beginning of both your precombat main phase and your postcombat main phase. Unused mana empties from players’ mana pools at the end of each step and phase.
