About Roiling Terrain
Roiling Terrain, Sorcery, designed by Steve Prescott first released in Feb, 2010 in the set Worldwake. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
A deck focused on graveyard interaction, such as a red-black or red-green land destruction deck, would benefit from using Roiling Terrain due to its ability to both destroy a land and deal damage based on the number of land cards in the opponent's graveyard. However, there are more efficient land destruction cards like Molten Rain or Stone Rain that are more commonly played in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks. While Roiling Terrain has its niche uses, it may not see widespread play in highly competitive environments.
