About Tidings
Tidings, Sorcery, designed by Pete Venters first released in Jul, 1999 in the set Starter 1999 and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.
A control deck focused on card advantage and card draw would benefit from including Tidings in its strategy, as it provides a significant card advantage for its cost. However, there are better options available such as Sphinx's Revelation, which not only draws cards but also gains life. Tidings could see play in a budget deck or as a supplement to other draw spells, but may not be a top choice in a competitive setting.
