This War Mammoth card would be beneficial in a green stompy deck that focuses on overwhelming the opponent with large, powerful creatures. While War Mammoth provides trample, there are potentially better options like Carnage Tyrant or Questing Beast that offer additional abilities and benefits for a similar mana cost. However, War Mammoth could still see play in certain budget or casual decks where its trample ability can be strategically advantageous.
