About Possession

Possession, Spell slow, designed by Kudos Productions first released in May, 2020 in the set Foundations.

AI: Possession can be a powerful addition to a control-oriented Shadow Isles deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's board presence. While it can provide a swing in tempo by stealing a key enemy follower, the restriction of not being able to play it with a full board can limit its effectiveness. Other cards like Vengeance or Ruination may offer more consistent removal options, making Possession situational and potentially less optimal for competitive play, but it could still find a niche in certain matchups where stealing an enemy unit is crucial for victory.
