About Nine Lives

Nine Lives, Spell burst, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Dec, 2021 in the set Beyond the Bandlewood.

This card would benefit a control-oriented Ionia deck that focuses on summoning units to stall the game and outvalue the opponent. While Nine Lives can provide some board presence and potential value with the Liminal Guardian summon, there are better options in the current meta for a 5-cost spell in Ionia, such as Deny or Will of Ionia, which offer more immediate impact and versatility. Overall, Nine Lives may not see much play in competitive decks unless the meta shifts to favor a more value-oriented playstyle.
