Thought Dissector, Artifact, designed by Matt Cavotta first released in Feb, 2004 in the set Darksteel. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
This Artifact card, Thought Dissector, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on controlling the opponent's resources and stealing key artifacts. Decks that aim to disrupt the opponent's strategy by taking control of their powerful artifacts or by milling their library would find this card useful. However, in competitive play, there are better options such as Thada Adel, Acquisitor which not only steals artifacts but also allows you to cast them. Thought Dissector may not see much play in high-level competitive decks due to its high cost and situational effect, but it could still be a fun and unexpected addition to more casual or thematic decks.

You put the artifact card onto the battlefield even if Thought Dissector has already left the battlefield and you can’t sacrifice it.
