Catalog, Instant, designed by Berry first released in May, 2020 in the set Urza's Saga and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
Catalog would be beneficial in a control or tempo deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides card advantage by allowing the player to draw two cards while also enabling card selection by discarding a less useful card. However, there are better options available such as Opt, which allows for instant speed card draw and selection for a lower mana cost, making it a more efficient choice for most decks. Catalog could see play in budget or casual decks, but competitive decks would likely opt for more powerful card draw options.
