Abyssal Guard would be a great addition to a spell-heavy Bilgewater deck that focuses on buffing units through spellcasting. Its ability to gain +2|+0 each time a spell is played can make it a powerful threat on the board. However, there may be better cards depending on the specific strategy of the deck, such as Riptide Rex for board control or Citrus Courier for additional card draw and healing.
