Godless Shrine, Land — plains swamp, designed by Cliff Childs first released in May, 2020 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 19 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
Godless Shrine is a versatile land that can benefit decks that require both white and black mana sources, such as Orzhov or Mardu decks in Magic: the Gathering. The ability to produce either white or black mana makes it useful for casting a variety of spells in those color combinations. While there may be other dual lands that enter untapped without a life payment, Godless Shrine is still a strong choice for decks that need its color combination and should definitely see play in the right deck.

Unlike most dual lands, this land has two basic land types. It’s not basic, so cards such as District Guide can’t find it, but it does have the appropriate land types for effects such as that of Drowned Catacomb (from the Ixalan set).
