About Barbed Sliver
Barbed Sliver, Creature — sliver, designed by Scott Kirschner first released in Oct, 1997 in the set Tempest and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Barbed Sliver is particularly beneficial in a Sliver tribal deck, where the synergy between Slivers can create a formidable army that can quickly overwhelm opponents. The ability to pump Slivers for a small cost allows for aggressive strategies, especially in decks focused on swarm tactics. While there are other cards that can enhance Sliver strategies, such as Sliver Hive for mana generation or Gemhide Sliver for ramping, Barbed Sliver's ability to boost power can be valuable in a fast-paced game. Whether it should see play depends on the overall strategy of the deck; if the goal is to maximize damage output quickly, it can be a solid inclusion, but it may not be the most essential card compared to others that provide broader utility or synergy.

Abilities that Slivers grant, as well as power/toughness boosts, are cumulative. However, for some abilities, like flying, having more than one instance of the ability doesn’t provide any additional benefit.
