About Divine Retribution
Divine Retribution, Instant, designed by Charles Gillespie first released in May, 2020 in the set Mirage.
This card, Divine Retribution, would be beneficial in a white control deck that focuses on stalling the opponent's attacks and punishing them for overcommitting. While it can be a powerful removal spell in certain situations, there are better options available such as Settle the Wreckage, which exiles attacking creatures, or Wrath of God, which destroys all creatures. Divine Retribution could see play in specific metagames where its unique effect is particularly useful, but in general, more versatile removal spells might be preferred.
