About Gravedigger
Gravedigger, Creature — zombie, designed by Scott M. Fischer first released in May, 2020 in the set Portal and was printed exactly in 36 different ways. It's a key card in 3 combos.
A black-based graveyard recursion deck would benefit from using Gravedigger as it allows for repeated creature card retrieval, providing value and card advantage. While Gravedigger is a solid option for its cost, there are potentially better cards like Phyrexian Reclamation or Eternal Witness that offer more flexibility or additional benefits. However, Gravedigger could still see play in decks focused on graveyard synergies or creature recursion strategies.

A “creature card” is any card with the type creature, even if it has other types such as artifact, enchantment, or land. Older cards of type summon are also creature cards.
