About Spawning Breath
Spawning Breath, Instant, designed by Trevor Claxton first released in Apr, 2010 in the set Rise of the Eldrazi.
A red aggro or burn deck would benefit from using Spawning Breath in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides both direct damage and a token creature for additional pressure. While there may be more efficient burn spells available, such as Lightning Bolt or Lava Spike, Spawning Breath could see play in a deck looking to go wide with creature tokens or needing additional mana ramp options.
