About Dragonscale General
Dragonscale General, Creature — human warrior, designed by Willian Murai first released in May, 2020 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
This Dragonscale General card would benefit a deck that focuses on tapping creatures for various effects, such as white weenie or token decks. While it can provide a steady stream of +1/+1 counters, there are potentially better cards like Benalish Marshal or Honor of the Pure that offer a more consistent boost to all creatures. Dragonscale General could see play in a deck looking for additional ways to bolster its board presence, but may not be a top choice in a highly competitive environment.

Bolster itself doesn’t target any creature, though some spells and abilities that bolster may have other effects that target creatures. For example, you could put counters on a creature with protection from white with Abzan Skycaptain’s bolster ability.
