This card, Shifting Sands, would be beneficial in a Shurima deck focused on controlling the board with unit removal and generating board presence with Sand Soldiers. While it provides decent value by dealing 4 damage and summoning 2 Sand Soldiers, there are potentially better removal options available in the game such as Ruin Runner or Rite of Negation. However, Shifting Sands could still see play in decks looking to capitalize on the synergy with Sand Soldiers and maintain board control.
