While it can provide temporary relief by weakening an enemy unit's attack power and disabling its positive keywords for the round, there are potentially better options like Concussive Palm or Scorched Earth that offer more versatile removal or board control. However, Quicksand could still see play in specific metas where disabling keywords is crucial, making it a situational but potentially impactful card in the right deck.
