About Phantom Nomad
Phantom Nomad, Creature — spirit nomad, designed by Jim Nelson first released in May, 2002 in the set Judgment and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A deck that focuses on protecting its creatures and utilizing +1/+1 counters would benefit from including Phantom Nomad, as it provides a resilient blocker that can repeatedly prevent damage. However, there are potentially better options like Kitchen Finks or Selfless Spirit that offer additional utility or protection. While Phantom Nomad could see play in a budget or specific theme deck, it may not be a top choice in more competitive or versatile deck builds.
Rules
10/04/04
If this card takes damage from multiple sources at once (for example if it is blocked by multiple creatures in combat), it only loses one counter.
10/04/04
Remove one counter each time it would be damaged. If it was going to take more than one point of damage, you prevent all the damage and still only remove one counter.
