About Root Out
Root Out, Sorcery, designed by Daniel Ljunggren first released in Apr, 2016 in the set Shadows over Innistrad and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
A deck that focuses on controlling the board by removing key artifacts or enchantments while generating card advantage would benefit from including Root Out. However, there are more efficient options like Naturalize or Reclamation Sage that provide similar effects at a lower cost or with additional benefits. Root Out could see play in specific metagames where the Investigate ability is particularly valuable, but in general, there are better options available.
