A deck that focuses on board control and spreading damage across multiple enemy units would benefit from using Crashing Wave in Legends of Runeterra. While this card can be effective in certain situations, there are better options available such as Make it Rain, which provides similar AOE damage but with more control over the targets. Crashing Wave could see play in niche decks that require additional board presence and can benefit from the Colossal Wave created in the deck, but overall, it may not be a top-tier choice for competitive play.
