About Keep Out

Keep Out, Instant, designed by Ron Spencer first released in Jan, 2026 in the set Lorwyn Eclipsed.

**Keep Out** would fit best in a white midrange or control deck that wants flexible sideboard-style interaction, especially in formats where tapped attackers and problematic enchantments are common; however, it’s generally underpowered compared to existing options. White already has more efficient removal like **Destroy Evil** (which can destroy a creature with power 4+ or an enchantment at instant speed for 1W), **Disenchant** (1W, instant, destroy target artifact or enchantment), and creature removal like **Fateful Absence** or **Get Lost**, which are broader and more reliable. Dealing 4 damage only to a *tapped* creature is quite restrictive, making it worse than many standard removal spells, so while the flexibility is nice in theory, this card would likely be outclassed in competitive formats and see little to no play outside of very specific metagames or limited environments.
