About Herald of the Magus

Herald of the Magus, Unit, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Aug, 2021 in the set Beyond the Bandlewood.

A deck focused on destroying allied landmarks consistently, such as a Landmark Control deck, would benefit from including Herald of the Magus. However, the condition of destroying 4+ allied landmarks may be difficult to achieve consistently in a competitive setting. Other cards like Emperor's Dais or Preservarium may offer more reliable benefits for a Shurima deck, making them potentially better choices depending on the deck's strategy and win conditions. Ultimately, Herald of the Magus could be a situational inclusion in certain niche decks but may not see widespread play due to its specific requirements.
