General of the Dunes would be beneficial in a Shurima Daybreak deck, as it synergizes well with other Daybreak cards to apply pressure on the opponent by granting Vulnerable to their weakest enemy. While General of the Dunes can be a solid inclusion in such a deck, there are potentially better options like Rahvun, Daylight's Spear, which offers a more impactful effect with its Overwhelm ability. However, General of the Dunes could still see play in specific strategies aiming to control the board and disrupt the opponent's plans.
