Voleur du logogriphe, Créature : sphinx et gredin, conçu par Victor Adame Minguez sorti pour la première fois en Sep, 2020 dans l'édition Zendikar Rising Commander.

Voleur d'énigme serait un ajout précieux à un deck axé sur les stratégies tribales Sphinx ou Rogue, en utilisant sa capacité de Prowl pour tirer parti des dégâts de combat. Alors qu'il offre un puissant effet de rebond en entrant sur le champ de bataille, son coût en mana élevé peut limiter son efficacité dans des formats plus rapides comme Modern ou Legacy. En Commander ou en jeu décontracté, il pourrait trouver sa place dans des decks cherchant à contrôler le plateau et perturber les stratégies des adversaires, bien qu'il puisse y avoir des options plus efficaces disponibles comme Venser, Shaper Savant pour des effets de rebond à vitesse instantanée.

Prowl compares the creature types of the spell with the creature types of the creatures that dealt combat damage to players this turn. Normally this means that you can cast Enigma Thief for its prowl cost only if a Sphinx or Rogue dealt combat damage to a player, but if an effect causes the spell to have other creature types, the prowl ability is also satisfied by a creature with those additional types having dealt combat damage to a player.

To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a prowl cost) you’re paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The converted mana cost of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.
