네 번째 열이 이야기를 다 합니다. 그 열이 움직이는 것은 맨 처음뿐이기 때문입니다. 이월은 급여가 아니라 양동이입니다. 첫 턴이나 둘째 턴에 차 버리고 그 뒤로는 이미 가득이니, 그다음부터 붙들어 두는 한 점은 곧장 바닥으로 쏟아집니다.
그래서 매 턴 조금씩 남겨 두는 일이 느낌보다 훨씬 나쁩니다. 매 턴 무언가를 아끼는 것처럼 보이지만, 실제로 아낀 것은 오래전 한 번뿐이고, 그 뒤로는 같은 양을 계속 버려 왔습니다. 게임이 그것을 알려 준 적은 한 번도 없습니다.
또한 양동이가 찬 뒤로는 더 붙들어 두어도 아무것도 사지 못한다는 뜻입니다. 두 배로 남겨도 넘어가는 양은 똑같고, 버려지는 양만 두 배가 됩니다. 그리고 넘어간 그 몫도 실제로 쓸 수 있어야, 그리고 그것을 쓸 수 있는 덱의 부분이 있어야 값이 생깁니다. 그것만은 이 페이지가 대신 확인해 줄 수 없습니다.

Three, once, and then nothing ever again. Over ten turns that is nineteen left unspent, three carried and sixteen thrown away, because the carry is a bucket you fill rather than a wage you draw.
It fills on the second turn here. From the third onwards, every point you hold back pours straight onto the floor without the game ever mentioning it.

Not at all, once the bucket is full. Leaving one, two, three or four unspent all carry exactly the same three; the only thing that changes is how much is thrown away.
Which is the useful way to read the table: the last column is the only one that moves.

그러면 실용적인 규칙은 무엇인가요?
Spend down to the carry once, and after that treat every unspent point as lost, because it is. Holding a little back feels like saving and is arithmetically identical to discarding.
The one thing that genuinely changes the total is spending one point less per turn, and the page prices that directly.
이월한 양이 결국 쓰인다고 전제하나요?
It assumes nothing about that, which is why it reports what is carried rather than what is gained. Carried resources that you never get to spend, or that only part of your deck can spend, are waste of a second kind.
Read the carried figure as a ceiling on what the carry can ever be worth to you, not as a gain.
